Position Summary:

The Department of Environmental and Health Sciences invites applications for a part-time Lecturer of Environmental Science to begin February 2021 (Spring). We seek outstanding scholar-teachers dedicated to excellence in teaching concepts and theories of sustainability. The department has a strong and proven reputation for educating and training women of African-descent to excel in STEM fields. Candidates who have demonstrated a commitment to working with women and underrepresented minority students through teaching, mentoring, and research are especially encouraged to apply with the ability to teach the following specific courses: Intro to Environmental Science and Labs, Air and Atmospheric Science, and Research in Environmental Sciences.

Qualifications:

The successful applicant will have a doctorate in environmental science or related area and prepared to teach courses at the undergraduate level.
