About the Department:The Poole College of Management (PCOM) has four academic departments (Accounting, Business Management, Economics, and Management, Innovation, and Entrepreneurship). It offers undergraduate degrees in accounting, business administration, and economics. At the graduate level, the college offers the Master of Business Administration, the Master of Accounting, and the Master of Management along with masters and Ph.D. degrees in economics.
Essential Job Duties:This position will be full-time for a 12-month appointment and will report to the Director of Admissions for the MBA program.
The principal responsibilities of the position are as follows:
RECRUITING/ADMISSIONS
●Develop and execute a targeted recruiting strategy to support program goals
●Meet with prospective students and respond to inquiries
●Interview and evaluate applicants for the program; participate in admissions decisions
●Manage the application and admissions process via Slate
●Track and report admissions data
●Identify and represent Master of Management and Graduate Certificates at recruiting events, career fairs, information sessions, and webinars
●Meet with current students and provide assistance, guidance, and support as needed
●Manage and update the program website
●Collaborate with the PCOM marketing team to design and execute various marketing, social media, and communications campaigns to include monitoring results and modifying strategy as needed.
ADVISING & STUDENT AFFAIRS
●Advise students with regards to academic requirements and support them as they progress through the program
●Support students with the graduation process
●Provide administrative support to the Master of Management program
●Oversee all aspects of program-related event planning to include promotion, logistics, negotiating contracts with vendors as needed, and managing the budget
● Develop and disseminate all program-relevant communications to students
Assists with other projects, administrative duties, and initiatives as assigned. This includes possible assignments to the Master of Accounting and MBA programs during peak demand periods for those programs.
Other Responsibilities:Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Experience and Education:Require post-baccalaureate credentials or a bachelor’s degree plus alternative or equivalent professional training and experience may be substituted for the advanced degree on an exceptional basis.

Professional experience working with a master’s level program in higher education is preferred.
