The therapy services coordinator is an integral part of the leadership team and is responsible for the administration and management of assigned responsibilities projects and programs for the therapy services departments encompassed by Chaplaincy and Pastoral Education the Faculty and Employee Assistance Program Occupational Health and Wellness and Rehabilitation Engineering Services Pulmonary Diagnostics and Respiratory Therapy Services and Rehabilitative Services.

  • Coordinates projects and/or programs for therapy services operations and/or personnel.              
  • Serves as an integral member of the Therapy Services leadership group.
  • Ensures the appropriateness quality and consistency of services provided student/shadow experiences employment practices  and continuing education initiatives.
  • Actively participates in quality improvement and professional growth activities.
  • In addition to the above job responsibilities, other duties may be assigned.

Position Compensation Range: $66,518.40 - $106,433.60 Annual


Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Respiratory Therapy required.

Experience: 5 years of experience working as a respiratory therapist in an academic medical center.

Licensure: Valid license or registration to practice in the Commonwealth of Virginia as a Respiratory Therapist required.


Job requires sitting for prolonged periods and Repetitive motion: (computer use). Proficient communicative, auditory and visual skills; Attention to detail and ability to write legibly.
