Position Title:Facilities Support Services Coordinator
Position Summary:This position provides supports to the facilities area by providing coordination, event and support services functions. Responsibilities include major event management and coordination, academic classrooms facilities inspection services, and act as a Work Control Coordinator.
Required Qualifications:High School graduate or equivalent.
Valid driver’s license.
Demonstrate strong managerial and leadership qualities.
Demonstrate an ability to work effectively with a diverse customer base.
Strong communication skills.
Ability to coordinate varied activities and to coordinate events. Demonstrated working knowledge of computers and computer programs; ability to create reports from data collected. Ability to work in varied environments; must have excellent communication skills. Working knowledge of facilities management related principles and methods.
Preferred Qualifications:A working knowledge in use of computerized maintenance management software (CMMS), and of facilities condition planning database software.

This is a non-exempt position, eligible to receive overtime pay for hours worked over 40, upon preapproval from supervisor.
This position is subject to overtime and schedule changes and may be required to work shifts during weekends, holidays and special events. This position has been designated as essential and will require reporting to work when the university is officially closed.
