Position Summary:

Under general supervision, the incumbent performs ECGs, Stress test (TMT, Lexiscan and stress echo), Holter monitors and blood pressure monitors, TEE setup and data management. Must have a knowledge of complex cardiac arrythmias. Is required to possess technical knowledge and clinical expertise to perform electrocardiograms, Holter monitor testing and data management. This position requires weekend rotation and late shift.

Salary Range:

Minimum Midpoint Maximum

Hourly Rate $23.89 $26.80 $29.71

Required Qualifications:

  • Understanding of medical terminology, infectious control techniques and age related acuity levels
  • Must have a certificate of completion of Basic Cardiac Arrhythmia class
  • Experience in recognition of arrhythmia
  • Knowledge of complex cardiac arrhythmias
  • At least one year experience in an acute care setting
  • Ability to read, write and communicate effectively in English
  • Ability to maintain flexibility and work well in a constantly changing environment

    Licenses and Certifications:

  • Basic Life Support(Required)

    Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bilingual skills in English and Spanish and/or Vietnamese
  • Working knowledge of Title 22 and JCAHO standards
  • Ability to instruct others in the use of equipment and performance of procedures
  • Preferred stress test experience
