Position Description:
Under the supervision of the principal investigator, the Research and Outreach Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating participant recruitment and outreach for a funded investigation designed to examine the neural correlates of attention in naturalistic learning environment. Primary responsibilities include recruiting the research study, managing, and coordinating the research study participants and study screeners, conducting standardized ability and achievement testing, administer lab task, collecting and managing EEG data, and conducting data analysis on the on the research data. The Research and Outreach coordinator will be responsible for training research assistants on data collection preparation and procedures, data entry, and administrative support.

Incumbent will provide research support and coordination for the programs ongoing research projects. This includes gathering data for EEG experiments in the laboratory setting, conducting EEG testing, educating EEG subject on study procedures, obtaining informed consent, and operating and troubleshooting the EEG recording devices to ensure accurate data is collected. The Research and Outreach Coordinator will utilize data collection from the study to conduct basic data analysis to translated and synthesizing the data into visually coherent tables, graphs, and infographics for formal reports. Other responsibilities include day-to-day data maintenance, managing information technology systems, updating research social media accounts, and supporting the research project with any administrative needs.

Incumbent must be highly organized with great attention to detail; have ability to work on multiple projects with competing deadlines, under the direction of multiple staff members.
