Position Description:
Under the direct supervision of the Senior Administrative Analyst-Supervisor for Humanities Administrative Group, provide administrative and financial support, event coordination and management, and general problem resolution to Chair, faculty, staff, and students for the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender and Queer Studies (LGBTQS) Interdepartmental Program. Under the general direction of the Chair of LGBTQS, and in coordination with the Student Affairs Officer (SAO), execute goals and objectives of the Program and Minor in all areas that serve and support both students and faculty. Organize outreach and public events, including the student- and Chair-led annual QScholars Undergraduate Research Symposium and QGrad (graduate) Conference. LGBTQS is a minor program comprised of 23 affiliated faculty and 29 minors.
