The English Department University of Arizona is seeking to fill multiple Adjunct Lecturer positions to teach writing program online courses. The primary responsibilities of the Adjuncts Lecturer will include teaching Writing Program courses in a manner that advances the educational mission of the University in a significant or substantial way. The incumbents will teach English Writing Program courses during the Spring. Final candidates will be asked to provide copies of diploma, letters of recommendations and/or transcript for the required credential verification.

Duties & Responsibilities:
May include:
- Teaching courses
- Preparing a syllabus
- Developing, assigning, and assessing composition projects
- Coaching students
- Mentoring Graduate Student Instructors
- Other duties as assigned
- Master's Degree in English or related field
- Experience teaching in a college level Writing Program
- Experience working with a diverse student population
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's Degree in Rhetoric and Composition or related field;
- Experience teaching a course for the University of Arizona Writing Program;
- One or more of the following: Online Teaching Experience; Second Language Writing Teaching Experience; Business and Technical Writing Teaching Experience; Experience mentoring or training other teachers; Experience developing and implementing culturally relevant pedagogies.
