Job Summary

The University of North Georgia is currently accepting applications for a Writing Peer Tutor on the Gainesville campus.

Responsibilities
  • Provide one-on-one or group tutoring sessions on an as-needed basis.
  • Assist fellow students with the mastery of concepts or applications of a specific skill or course of study.
  • Integrate effective study and learning strategies, thereby maximizing the student’s potential to become an independent learner and achieve academic success.
  • Maintain ongoing communication with their supervisors.
  • Be knowledgeable of and refer students to other appropriate college resources as needed. All tutoring must take place on UNG campuses

Required Qualifications
  • Must be enrolled at the University of North Georgia in a minimum of six (6) credit hours to qualify as a student worker.
