Job Summary

The University of North Georgia is currently accepting applications for a Campus Recreation and Wellness Student Worker. This is a position within the Rec Sports Department on the Gainesville Campus. The employee may work an area within the facility such as Lifeguard, Fitness Center Attendant, Building Monitor and/or within our programs and events such as intramural sports, fitness competitions, sport skill and fitness training, marketing during orientations and weeks of welcome.

Responsibilities
  • Monitor facility use
  • Monitor equipment - set up, breakdown, organize, clean, inventory etc
  • Assist patrons
  • Attend meetings and trainings
  • Assist with programming

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Ability to supervise individuals using a facility, ability to monitor equipment, ability to use electronic equipment
Required Qualifications
  • Must be enrolled at the University of North Georgia in a minimum of six (6) credit hours to qualify as a student worker
