The Mike Cottrell College of Business (MCCB) at the University of North Georgia (UNG) is currently accepting applications for part-time faculty positions in accounting. There may be opportunities for both day, and evening classes.
The MCCB is an AACSB accredited business school and includes the Center for Cyber Operations Education, Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation, and the BB&T Center for Ethical Leadership. In addition to the B.B.A., the college offers undergraduate degrees in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Technology Management, and Paralegal Studies, and three associate degrees. Graduate programs include the Cottrell M.B.A., Master of Accountancy, and three graduate certificates. The international group of teacher-scholars provides an exceptional learning community to prepare students for their professional roles and to engage with business and industry in the region to foster economic development.Responsibilities
- The part-time faculty member will be responsible for teaching undergraduate and/or graduate courses in any of the following possible locations: Dahlonega, Gainesville, Cumming, Oconee. There may be opportunities for both day and evening classes.
- Candidates with a Master's degree in subject area are eligible to apply. Master's degree from an AACSB accredited school is preferred, with a minimum of 18 graduate semester or 30 graduate quarter hours in the subject area.
- Substantive and significant experience in the field of accounting is required.
