Job Summary

The University of North Georgia is currently accepting applications for a federal work study student in the Visual Arts department on the Dahlonega campus.

Responsibilities
  • Loding kilns
  • Grinding and kiln washing shelves
  • Pugging clay
  • Mixing glazes
  • Assisting in inventory
  • Studio upkeep
  • Assisting professor in overall maintenance
  • Monitor the studio outside classes and assist students as needed
  • Enforce safety and security in lab

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Must be able to lift 75lbs
  • Must have previous knowledge of ceramic related processes
Required Qualifications
  • Must be enrolled at the University of North Georgia in a minimum of six (6) credit hours to qualify as a student worker.
