Description:
The Department of Surgery at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for an Associate or Full Professor position in the non-tenure clinician educator track. Expertise is required in the specific area of urology. Applicants must have an M.D. or M.D./Ph.D. or equivalent degree. They must also be certified by the American Board of Urology.
Teaching responsibilities may include clinical and didactic instruction of medical students, residents and fellows.
Clinical responsibilities may include inpatient and outpatient care in urology and urologic surgery.
Research or scholarship responsibilities may include investigations in translational and clinical urologic topics.
The successful applicant will serve as Chief of the Division of Urology at Penn Presbyterian Medical Center, a full member institution of the University of Pennsylvania Health System, and will have administrative responsibilities commensurate with that title.
