Job Purpose:
To staff a variety of courses each semester in English and Theatre.


Essential Duties:
Adjunct/affiliate faculty are expected to teach introductory courses in the department of English and Theatre, primarily First-Year Writing, to prepare course materials; to provide support and guidance to students; and to report grades.

Additional Skills Required:
Familiarity w/ MS Office & basic courseware programs.

Minimum Education Requirements:
Master’s Degree in English, Theatre, or MFA in Creative Writing.

Preferred Education:
ABD or PhD in English

Minimum Job Experience Requirements:
Previous teaching experience and a willingness to be flexible in class scheduling.

Preferred Qualifications:
Previous teaching experience at the college level.
