Postdoctoral Research Associate
A Postdoctoral research associate or more senior research position in computational biology is available in the Pritykin lab in the Lewis-Sigler Institute for Integrative Genomics at Princeton University. The Pritykin lab develops computational methods for design and analysis of high-throughput functional genomic assays and perturbations, with a focus on multi-modal single-cell and spatial technologies; and applies these methods to study regulatory genomics of cell function and cell-cell interactions in close collaboration with experimental biologists and clinicians, with a focus on immunology and cancer. We seek candidates with computational, bioinformatics, machine learning, statistics, data science and/or other quantitative backgrounds who are enthusiastic about bringing their expertise to address fundamental problems in biology and medicine using cutting-edge technologies. A successful candidate will have an opportunity to lead and contribute to a range of exciting collaborative projects, and develop new projects. PhD in a relevant field is required. Strong track record of productivity is essential. Experience with biological data analysis is a plus but not required. Appointments are for one year, with possibility for renewal pending satisfactory performance and continued funding. The position is subject to the University's background check policy. Applications must be submitted online at https://www.princeton.edu/acad-positions/position/18963. Applications should include a curriculum vitae that includes a list of publications, a brief statement of research interests and goals, and the names and contact information for three references. Please email Dr. Yuri Pritykin at [email protected] with any questions about the position.
