Position Summary:

Research Professional AD in Stem Cell and Neuroscience Laboratory

We are looking for a highly motivated and passionate laboratory technician (Research Professional). The candidate should have exceptional organizational skills and be excited about performing science and experimentation.
The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the PI and staff with specific laboratory maintenance tasks. She/he will lead a research project under close supervision from the PI, Dr. Nadja Zeltner. This project will involve the differentiation of tissues from the adranl gland from human pluripotent stem cells and assembling them into a 3D structure for long-term maintenance.
Excellent communication skills, exceptional work ethic and the ability to function within a highly interactive and interdisciplinary research community are essential. Specific experience with human pluripotent stem cells, in vitro differentiation and analysis based on qRT-PCR and immunofluorescence.

Research on primary project using human pluripotent stem cells under close supervision of PI to include: culture human pluripotent stem cells.

Assess the identity and purity of each cell type by performing quantitative PCR and immunostaining characterization.
