Summary

The Clinic Operations Project Manager is responsible in assisting the TUMG Clinic Operations Director in activities relevant to the operations of TUMG Clinics and Health Information Management.  The role will interact with Physicians, TUMG staff, Department Administrators, Clinic Managers, Clinic Staff and outside resources.  The incumbent will be integral to the successful outcome of TUMG-initiated projects.

The Clinic Operations Project Manager is responsible for overseeing the storage patient medical records, fulfillment of medical record requests and regulatory compliance training initiatives for the Tulane University Medical Group (TUMG).  The position assists with establishing, implementing and monitoring Release of Information (ROI) policies and procedures.  In addition, the position provides training and instruction to assigned clinic personnel on regulatory requirements for receiving, reviewing, logging and responding to both internal and external ROI requests in a manner that is consistent with all established medical, administrative, ethical, legal and regulatory requirements of the health care system.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree with three years related experience

OR 

• High School Diploma/Equivalent with nine years of related experience 

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
