Job Title:Department of Psychology - Two 2-year and one 3-year term positions beginning Fall 2021

Job Summary:The Department of Psychology offers one of Grinnell College’s largest majors. With a commitment to psychological science, the department educates students using a lively lab-based curriculum and individually-mentored research. We invite applications for three term faculty appointments beginning Fall 2021. Two positions will be for two years, and one position will be for three years. Assistant Professor (Ph.D.) preferred; Instructor (ABD) or Associate Professor possible. Research and teaching interests might include, but are not limited to: social psychology, personality psychology, developmental psychology, and cognitive psychology. The teaching load is five courses [OR EQUIVALENT] over two semesters. The successful candidates will teach some combination of introductory psychology and both intermediate and advanced courses in their area of specialization. One of the three successful candidates will teach our required research methods course. In addition, successful candidates will mentor and engage students in research projects.
