This position will help lay the foundation for a robust and meaningful business intelligence platform that serves Austin Community College District and help support their new enterprise information management strategy.Description of Duties and TasksEssential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Experience in strategic technology planning and execution, as well as policy development and maintenance. Extensive experience in good data modeling techniques. High competency in MS SQL Server, Oracle SQL, stored procedures, and other SQL modalities and tools, Unidata experience a plus. Knowledge of best practices for data quality management, master data management, and near-real-time data warehousing. Experience with ETL/ELT tools such as Informatica, Datastage, Dell Boomi, etc.SkillsMust possess required skills and be able to explain and demonstrate, with or without reasonable accommodations, that the essential functions of the job can be performed.
Maintaining an established work schedule. Effectively using interpersonal and communications skills. Effectively using organizational and planning skills with attention to detail and follow-through. Ability to take complex concepts and create models for discussion, evaluation, and collaboration, including the ability to explain technological concepts to business leaders, explain business concepts to technologists, and sell ideas and processes at all levels.Technology Skills

10+ years of working with technology development/delivery teams. 8+ years of technology design, implementation, or consulting in one or more of the following areas: enterprise data warehousing, business intelligence reporting and analytics tools, cloud and iPaaS platforms, big data, data lakes, etc. 5+ years of working with enterprise/solution architecture frameworks, methodologies, templates, and tools.Required Education
