The Practice Manager provides administrative direction and coordination to the formulation, interpretation, and administration of current and long-range policies, procedures, and programs of a single-specialty practice. The incumbent also assumes responsibility for the overall operations, development, and success of our medical practice. In this important role, the successful applicant acts as an information resource and ambassador to patients, physicians, staff, and the general public.

Department Specific

Functions:

-Maintains appropriate operational staffing levels for all shifts and creates a schedule to share with the team.

-Trains and maintains a high level of customer service with the staff

-Partners with the clinical lead to maintain operations

-Works with the pharmacy team to align available vaccines to scheduled appointments

-Addresses any issues in the patient vaccination site and partners with external departments to maintain a high reliability site compliant with all university policies.

-Addresses any patient issues pertaining to vaccines

-Operationalizes all changes mandated by the Covid Vaccination Taskforce in accordance with State and CDC Guidelines.

CORE QUALIFICATIONS Education:

Bachelor’s degree in relevant field required

Certification and Licensing:

Not applicable

Experience:

Minimum 3 years of relevant experience required.

Any appropriate combination of relevant education, experience and/or certifications may be considered.
