General Overview:
The Administrative Assistant reports to the Assistant Vice President, Philanthropic Giving + Digital Engagement, and is responsible for assisting with the day-to-day administrative functions for, all philanthropic giving campaigns and the University-wide Giving Day. This individual will assist with goal budget, event planning, direct mail, and electronic solicitation. This position will serve as a liaison to Development Resources, Programs and Events, Development Communications and Marketing teams.

Essential Responsibilities:
• Provides administrative support to the Assistant Vice President, Philanthropic Giving & Digital Engagement in scheduling and logistical support, budget support, CRM data integrity and maintenance, while producing internal and external donor cultivation and stewardship correspondences as needed.
• Provides customer service support to institutional constituents, third-party vendors, colleagues, and volunteers.
• Responsible for monthly and annual budget reconciliation for the Philanthropic Giving & Digital Engagement team.
• Partners with divisional finance and advancement services colleagues to ensure accurate budget forecasting, reconciliation, and database management
• As necessary, provides administrative support for events.
• When needed, partners with colleagues to assist with mailings and other solicitations
• Ensures accuracy of RSVP list and updates divisional database as needed with new constituent biographical information.
• Partners with divisional finance and advancement services colleagues to ensure accurate budget forecasting, reconciliation, and database management
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
Candidate must have a High School graduate or equivalent required and a minimum of one years of experience. Equivalent combinations of education/experience may be considered. Demonstrated command of Microsoft Office applications including MS Word, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint, at an advanced level, to produce merges, queries and assist with data mining. Excellent social and customer service skills, sound judgment, and a strong work ethic. Excellent communication skills and command of the English language, both verbal and written, are required. Must be open to a flexible schedule, dedicated, strong organizational skills, and a willingness to work in a team-driven environment. Must be able to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
