Weekend University COVID Response and Contact Tracing Team Member

DescriptionCOVID-19 Response Specialists will support University Health Center staff by:
reviewing and responding to faculty, staff, and students’ daily online symptoms monitoring tool (QuickScans): engaging in email and telephone outreach to staff, students, and faculty; document communications, update files, and maintain electronic records; and assist with registration or other stations as needed. The COVID response specialist will also be responsible for checking PCR results which are reported on the weekend. The specialist will then notify all positive PCR results to faculty, staff or students and do appropriate contact tracing. 

Personal protective equipment and training will be provided.

Qualifications

Qualified candidates must have attained their Registered Nurse (RN), Nurse Practitioner (NP), or Physician’s Assistant (PA) from an accredited program.

Must be licensed in the State of Maryland.

Must be comfortable with electronic health records.

Recent graduates accepted.

Except for qualifications established by law, additional related experience and formal education in which one has gained the knowledge, skills, and abilities required for full performance of the work of the job class may be substituted for the education or experience requirement on a year-for-year basis with 30 college credits being equivalent to one year of experience.

A Criminal Background Investigation is required for the hired candidate and the results may impact employment.
