DescriptionResponsibilities will vary depending on placement, however may include: receives and directs incoming calls and visitors; responds to general inquiries; assists in maintaining paper and electronic filing systems; copies, sorts and files documents according to defined procedures; assembles and compiles basic data according to specific instructions; utilizes manual and automated methods to enter and retrieve data; and operates office equipment including phones, computers, and photocopiers.
QualificationsHigh School diploma or equivalent. The selected candidate will have excellent verbal and written communication skills with attention to detail; ability to multitask; excellent customer service skills; ability to maintain effective work relationships; ability to operate manual and automated office equipment, type, answer phones and greet visitors.
Except for qualifications established by law, additional related experience and formal education in which one has gained the knowledge, skills, and abilities required for full performance of the work of the job class may be substituted for the education or experience requirement on a year-for-year basis with 30 college credits being equivalent to one year of experience.
A Criminal Background Investigation is required for the hired candidate and the results may impact employment.
