Must be able to sit, stand, walk, and perform massage therapy techniques in durations of 30-90 minutes per session. Must be able to walk long distances.Shift:
1st shift – Five days per week, 32 hours per week.Job Summary:
UK Integrative Medicine & Health is looking for a Massage Therapy Coordinator/UKHC to join our team of Integrative Medicine practitioners. The coordinator will:
- Oversee the massage therapy program at UKHC. Develop and grow services to continue providing quality, custom bodywork to meet client’s needs, maintain safety protocols and policies, and to continuously improve the client’s experience.
- Supervise a team of massage therapists to ensure client safety, confidentiality, effective scheduling, positive workplace culture, and team engagement.
- Educate about our service offerings through various activities including health and wellness events, department presentations, virtual sessions, classes, and more.
- Participate in research activities to help build knowledge and facilitate learning, understand and increase public awareness, and show efficacy and effectiveness.
*Please note that this position is expected to work 5 days and 32 hours per week and would therefore be eligible for University health insurance and other benefits.Skills / Knowledge / Abilities:
Specialty certifications/ continuing education trainings for specialty areas, Microsoft Office, utilization of electronic health recordDoes this position have supervisory responsibilities? :
Prefer bachelor’s degree. Also, prefer experience and certifications in additional Integrative Medicine modalities such as Reiki, Reflexology, etc.Deadline to Apply:
