Physical Requirements:This position requires the ability to regularly sit for extended periods of time at a computer workstation and perform tasks with repetitive motions (such as typing), and walk extensively throughout the facility, occasionally with objects weighing up to 25 lbs.
Shift:Monday through Friday, varying shift hours between 8:00 am and 5:00 pm; hours and days of week subject to change in order to meet job and departmental business needs.
Job Summary:This position will provide direct administrative support to the UK HealthCare SVP/Chief Operations Officer, performing duties such as scheduling and coordinating meetings, travel arrangements, and presentations and overseeing details such as meeting agendas, catering, and reporting.
Additionally, the Administrative Support Associate will be charged with preparing and distributing expense reports and data related to finance and operations to officials; conducting departmental audits; and developing preliminary budgets in conjunction with executives and managers.
Skills / Knowledge / Abilities:The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Office, a high regard for attention to detail, and exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Education/Experience:A bachelor’s degree and at least five full years of providing paid administrative support to senior-level officers preferred; experience supporting senior-level executives in a healthcare setting highly preferred.
