Physical Requirements:Sitting for long periods of time. Ability to carry items up to 50 lbs for short distances. Effectively communicating with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
Shift:Monday-Friday, 30 hours per week, some early morning and evening hours will be required.
Job Summary:The UK Office of Technology Commercialization seeks a highly qualified candidate to fill the role of Operations Coordinator to support the Launch Blue program. The Operation Coordinator will support the Launch Blue team and assist with the day-to-day operations of the program in supporting entrepreneurs, startup companies, partners, and related stakeholders in the Lexington region and across the Commonwealth. The successful candidate will be an entrepreneurial minded professional that is passionate about our mission to launch nationally competitive Kentucky startups; capacity for creative thinking, self-direction, and problem solving; and superb verbal, written, inter-personal communication skills.
Skills / Knowledge / Abilities:Highly proficient computer skills (Windows, MS Office, Cloud/web applications, Power User); A/V Technology proficiency
