Position Summary:

Under supervision of the PI, the incumbent will serve as a laboratory manager, provide technical support for the lab, and perform repetitive research and experimental activities.

Compensation Range:

Hourly: $22.56 - $24.56

Required:

Knowledge and skill to perform laboratory research procedures and experiments in a biochemistry/molecular biology laboratory. Experience maintaining and/or preparing cell cultures and protein samples for mass spectrometry. Experience maintaining instrumentation. Experience performing bioinformatics tasks. Ability to perform duties with care, focus and strong attention to detail. Flexibility and excellent organizational skills with ability to prioritize work and be resourceful. Ability to carry out independent laboratory research procedures and activities Experience with general laboratory maintenance. Ability to follow oral and written instructions. Basic computer skills.

Preferred:

Bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences.
