The Behavioral Health Clinic of Oklahoma StateUniversity is searching for a Psychological Technician / Psychometrist for thedivision of clinical neuropsychology. A successful candidate will beresponsible for administering selected psychological and/or neuropsychologicaltests to children and adults in accordance with clearly defined procedures,under the supervision of a licensed psychologist or neuropsychologist. Assistsin test scoring, collection, and recording of various test data for clinicaland/or research purposes. This position requires strong interpersonal skillsand the ability to effectively work with a wide range of individuals andconstituencies in a diverse community.
Possibleexposure to hazardous material, hot and cold, blood borne pathogens.
Ability to lift, carrypush, and pull 20 pounds, stoop, reach, stand, walk, finger, grasp, feel, talk,hear, see, and perform repetitive motions with or without reasonableaccommodations. -Be innovative Education & Experience Position Qualifications: Required:
-Bachelor'sdegree in clinical psychology, school psychology, counseling psychology, speechand language pathology, or related disciplines is required.
Skills, Proficiencies and Knowledge:
This position requires strong analytical skills, advanced multi-tasking skills,advanced problem solving skills, supervisory experience, and the ability toeffectively plan. Computer skills are needed to operate electronic medicalrecords. Interpersonal skills are required to interact effectively withfaculty, students, clients and providers.
Additional areas of experience should include:
1. Working with supplies, equipment,and/or services ordering and inventory control.
2. Gathering data, compiling information,and preparing reports.
3. Maintaining confidentiality ofrecords and information.
4. Working knowledge of psychologicaland behavioral test scoring protocol, procedures, and standards.
5. Conducting structured behavioralobservations
6. Documentation in client/patientchart of date, length and nature of service (i.e., descriptive/factual progressnotes).
7. Other duties assigned by supervisor
-Past experience in administration of standardized psychological tests, or formaltraining in the administration, strongly preferred.
-Candidates with prior experience, ADOS certification, Board Certified BehaviorAnalyst certification are strongly encouraged to apply.
