Position Summary:

Under supervision from the Principal Investigator, the incumbent performs standard repetitive laboratory procedures that require technical knowledge and skill in the field of biology. Additionally, incumbent will be responsible for laboratory supplies and maintenance.

Compensation Range:

Hourly: $19.36 - $20.90

Required:

Laboratory research experience in a biochemistry/molecular biology laboratory.

Experience maintaining and/or preparing cell cultures and protein samples for mass spectrometry.

Experience maintaining instrumentation.

Experience performing bioinformatics tasks.

Ability to perform duties with care, focus and strong attention to detail.

Ability to carry out independent laboratory research procedures.

Preferred:

Bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences.

Basic computer skills.
