Position Summary:The Kenan-Flagler Business School at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill is seeking to fill one (1) fixed-term faculty position in the Finance Academic Area. The successful candidate will be a creative and effective teacher capable of contributing to the school’s academic programs, particularly in the Real Estate concentration.
In addition to teaching, this position will also serve as Senior Executive Director of the Leonard W. Wood Center for Real Estate Studies. The Wood Center exists to enrich the Real Estate experience at Kenan-Flagler Business School for our students, faculty, alumni, and employers. The Senior Executive director has significant administrative oversight and responsibility for supporting the center’s academic, research, and outreach activities.
Depending on experience and education, the successful candidate will be classified as either a Clinical Faculty rank or as a Professor of the Practice.
Educational Requirements:A Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, or a closely related field is required; A PhD in Finance, Economics, or closely related field is preferred.
Qualifications and Experience:Significant industry experience in the field of Real Estate is required. Candidates with teaching experience in higher education preferred.
