Position Summary:

The Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R) at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill is seeking a part-time physician to provide integrative medical group visits, complimentary medicine, and non-opioid, complementary medicine recommendations for chronic pain management at the UNC Center for Rehabilitation Care. Specialty training and/or experience in integrative medicine is required.

This position will be involved in developing and implementing research in complementary, alternative, and integrative healthcare. This position is responsible for developing grant applications and producing manuscripts related to complementary, alternative and integrative health care research.

Education Requirements:

M.D. The successful candidate will be with NC medical license or willingness to obtain state license.

Qualifications and Experience:

The ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, strong leadership abilities, a record of interdisciplinary collaboration, and have the desire to be involved in enhancing quality of patient care and participating in research studies. Specialty training in integrative medicine is required.
