Duties:Under general supervision, the Departmental Assistant performs varied clerical duties. Position requires knowledge of general office routine and procedures.
Education/Experience:High school diploma or general education degree (GED) with some specialized training (educational or vocational); minimum one year clerk-typist or secretarial experience in a general office environment.
Prefer experience with cultural diversity and/or sensitivity to needs of immigrant, second language or international population.
Fluency in Spanish preferred
Proficiency testing will include basic word, basic excel, alpha filing, and a keyboarding test.
