Administrative Associate Sr.

Job description

Job Summary / Basic Function:

Reports to the Academic Success leadership and performs administrative an office support activities for credit programs; facilitate the admission and registration process for current and prospective students; provide information to visitors, students, faculty and staff; inform students on matters regarding admissions and records.
•Field telephone calls and provide quality customer service in a professional manner at all times
•Serve as call center representative during peak times to assist students with log in issues.
•Create documents and spreadsheets for department, college, assessment or accreditation purposes.
•File, fax and scan documents and records, open and distribute incoming mail.
•Facilitate the admissions and registration process for current and prospective LIT students.
•Process requests for program information from CRM or other leads
•Create and modify the course schedule for the assigned department
•Collect and route withdrawal and drop forms.
•Maintain and distribute student records following FERPA guidelines and LIT policies.
•Provide registration information, transcripts, etc. for students, faculty and staff on demand
•Complete purchase requisitions and travel documents as needed.
•Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

•High school diploma or GED is required.
•Two years of customer service experience in a related field in either the private sector, with a state agency, or higher education

While performing the duties of the essential functions of this job, work is typically performed in an interior/office work environment with moderate noise. Applicant must be qualified to drive a state vehicle to conduct state business. Some evening and weekends will be required as well as extended hours required during registration periods.

Preferred Qualifications:

•Associates degree
•Three or more years of customer service experience, proficient skills in Banner, Starfish, Argos, Microsoft Office Applications
