Starting salary: $76,575 (work experience and meeting the desired qualifications listed may be considered in setting a salary above the minimum)
Pay Grade: A6
Provide analytical and technical support to departmental staff in the use of the administrative computer system; identify system problems and resolutions; identify system enhancements and ensure enhancement compatibility with existing systems.Essential Functions:
Provide consulting services to user departmental staff regarding the correct use of the administrative computer system, identifying system enhancements, analyzing system problems and identifying solutions to resolve the problem.
Develop adhoc reports that will be used to assist the department in information research and daily decision making.
Coordinate the implementation of application software upgrades between departmental users and Information Solutions staff by establishing timelines, communicating changes, enhancements and modifications that will impact the user department and other system modules.
Assist user department in obtaining additional programming by identifying needs, developing programming specifications to ensure compatibility with existing systems software, and testing the program output for accuracy.
Develop system documentation which may include online manuals, office procedures, report descriptions, and common problem resolutions.
Perform other duties as assigned.Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in any area and four years of experience implementing, using or supporting an automated information systems in a relational database environment OR Associate’s degree in a computer field and six years of experience implementing, using or supporting an automated information systems in a relational database environment.
Experience with Oracle, UNIX and/or SOL.
Strong communication skills.
Ability to plan, organize and manage lime.
Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain a professional working relationship with a wide variety of individuals coming from diverse backgrounds.
Knowledge of current software applications.Desired Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems or related.
Programming and/or systems analyst experience.
Three or more years of experience working with CRM Recruit and Advice, or other Ellucian products, or five or more years of experience working with CRM software.
Experience in an educational institution.Physical Requirements:
