UK Healthcare is seeking a Nurse Manager to provide the highest level of nursing assessment and integration of data collected related to health status of patient. This position will prioritize patient needs based on data collected and demonstrate a strong commitment to patient advocacy and ability to interpret patient needs/responses. The selected candidate will maintain patient confidentiality and understand and demonstrate compliance with HIPAA regulations, and provide independent, dependent, and interdependent functions related to nursing care.
The Nurse Manager will also delegate tasks/interventions to clinical staff as needed, and operate as a professional liaison between provider and patient/family as well as communicate test results to patient/family per provider direction and work directly with providers in conjunction with the clinic manager to routinely review template protocols.
The Nurse Manager will also assist in establishing service standards, policies and procedures, and hold staff accountable for providing care that meets standards of practice. This position is responsible for ensuring that all staff meet minimum levels of competency for assigned patient population, while ensuring compliance with UKHC policy and state, federal and regulatory agencies, and ensuring staff behaviors reflect the values and vision of UK HealthCare.
