Required License/Registration/Certification:Certified Pharmacy Technician (by PTCB or ExCPhT) and registered with the Kentucky Board of Pharmacy
Physical Requirements:This position may require sitting, standing and/or walking for extended periods of time. Reaching above the shoulders may be required.
Shift:Primarily generally Monday through Friday, 8:00 am – 4:00 pm, but can change according to the needs of UKHC and the department. May eventually include nights, weekends and/or holidays.
Job Summary:This Pharmacy Compliance Coordinator will be responsible for monitoring Standards of Practice in all Specialty Pharmacy areas; Specialty Pharmacy Accreditation and Contractual Compliance; Oversight of UK Specialty Pharmacy Workflow Processes and Operations; Personnel training within all specialty pharmacy areas and monitoring of staff competency.
Skills / Knowledge / Abilities:This position requires dependability, and the ability to prioritize. The successful candidate must be reliable and demonstrate excellent attention to detail.

Preferred Education/Experience:Bachelors degree preferred; five years of pharmacy related experience with at least one year of specialty pharmacy experience highly preferred.
