Physical Requirements:On feet all day. Ability to move 50 lbs
Shift:Shift lengths vary with school schedule. Hours of operation 7am-4pm; some weekends per month required
Job Summary:Responsible for the routine daily care of horses (mares, foals, yearlings), which includes, but not limited to: mucking stalls, feeding, grooming, basic ground work, sales prep, assisting with veterinary/breeding/blacksmith work, operate equipment and general barn care
Skills / Knowledge / Abilities:Attention to detail, good work ethic and punctuality
Does this position have supervisory responsibilities? :No
Preferred Education/Experience:Farm, equine handling, use of equipment such as mower/tractor
