CPR certification a must. Nationally recognized personal trainer certification preferred but not required.

Physical Requirements:

Standing or sitting for long periods of time. Lifting up to 20 pounds.

Shift:

5-20 hours per week. Days, Evenings, and Weekends

Job Summary:

Customer service skills are a must. Will be responsible for daily openings and closing of the facility, supervision of participants, some cleaning/maintenance, performing fitness orientations and training sessions, and writing/implementing exercise programs. Must follow all policies and procedures, work well in a team environment, and work with the Health and Wellness team/program.

Skills / Knowledge / Abilities:

Must be knowledgeable in human anatomy and physiology, have experience training individuals, have a flexible work schedule. Timeliness and teamwork is a must.

Preferred Education/Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in health related field.
