Job Summary:The Institute for Pharmaceutical Outcomes and Policy (IPOP) within the College of Pharmacy is seeking a Data Management Specialist Sr. This position is located in Frankfort, Kentucky, and will be working on the Family First Prevention Services Plan within the Department of Community Based Services.
The person in this position will implement the monitoring and evaluation initiative for the Family First Prevention Services Plan. This position will contribute to the development of an evaluation plan using well-developed strategies and methodologies.
The position will work directly with high level stakeholders to develop complex analytical designs for Tableau dashboards while also diagnosing, validating, and improving performance of statistical data models over time. The position is expected to work with junior database analysts to review code, recommend modifications to reports, and validate data using advanced statistical methods.
The Data Management Specialist Sr will also develop complex, efficient, and reusable SQL code meant for improvement, manipulation, and analysis of data. Other responsibilities include performing data conversions, writing code, identifying relevant trends, preparing reports & visualizations, and developing dashboards.

Skills / Knowledge / Abilities:Prior healthcare and data mining/modeling experience. Development and management skills. Working knowledge of Tableau, T-SQL and PL/SQL. Strong communication skills (verbal and written). Knowledge and experience in a health care environment.

Preferred Education/Experience:Preferred Experience in working with various data types, including healthcare data; advanced statistical skills.
