The Assistant Director of Analytics responsibilities include working with our CRM (Slate by Technolutions) to support the data needs of our recruitment counselors and communications team. This is an onsite position; work for this role is performed on campus.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Working with recruiters to identify data needs
• Building dashboards and reports from Slate and Banner
• Training new team members on the use and best practice of Slate
• Monitoring and maintaining data in Slate as it relates to territory management.
• Coordinating a daily and weekly schedule of reports and processes deliverable to the counselors, utilizing the Student Information System, third party systems, and Customer Relationship Management systems
• Analyzing, validating and summarizing data in preparation for generation of statistical and analytical reports, and interpreting research data as appropriate
• Completing ad hoc reporting as required
• Providing technical support for the team
• Performing other duties as assigned

Candidates must be able to organize and handle all aspects of administration and adhere to the rules and regulations of Hofstra University, the Colonial Athletic Conference, and the NCAA. This position may participate in interdepartmental meetings, committees, and taskforces as well as interact with all levels of faculty, staff and administration campus wide.

Extended hours, which may include evenings and weekends, are required in support of daily production, special projects, events and deadlines.
Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree required. Candidate must be proficient in complete Microsoft Office suite of applications. Prior experience in data reporting in a Customer Relationship Management software, preferably Salesforce & Slate preferred. Experience using Microsoft Excel to present data in tables and charts. Prior experience in creating, writing, importing and querying databases using MS Access is preferred. Experience with any of the following are a plus: Student Information Systems, preferably Ellucian's Banner; digital document management systems; Oracle; SQL. Must be detail oriented, have strong follow-through skills, and possess excellent analytical, technical and communication skills. Prioritize daily assignments while handling ad hoc projects and interacting with different levels of management.
