Nature of Work:

Under the supervision of the Associate Director of Admissions-Recruitment, the Assistant Director of Recruitment and Dual Enrollment assists with the development and deployment of an effective outreach and recruitment strategy, including the design of communication, designed to generate inquiries and applicants to the University of West Georgia and to ultimately yield those inquiries and applicants. Additionally, the Assistant Director of Recruitment and Dual Enrollment will have a specific focus on the Dual Enrollment population, leading two Admissions Representatives who will also have a focus on this population, and developing strategy around growing the Dual Enrollment population and ultimately yielding the Dual Enrollment population as Freshmen students to the University. The position will also provide day-to-day admission counseling and academic advising to Dual Enrollment students via phone, email, and face-to-face meetings both on campus and through travel to various community and state organizations. They will also be responsible for working with all populations of students as needed. This position is the lead for assisting with the enrollment of Dual Enrollment applicants within the Office of Admissions. In consultation with senior admissions leadership, this position will also assist with analyzing data and determining overall UWG recruitment strategy. This position works closely with other University offices and programs.

Required Qualifications :

Bachelor’s Degree required. 1 year of admissions experience required (or equivalent) and 1 year experience with leadership and supervision of student or full-time employees required. A successful incumbent will be a team player with a strong work ethic, who actively contributes to the office welfare in a high volume, fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

Master’s Degree preferred. 2 years of admissions experience preferred. Experience recruiting or advising Dual Enrollment applicants strongly preferred

Salary:

$35,796 minimum - $46,740 midpoint

Physical Requirements/Working Conditions:

Occasional night and weekend work. Must have valid driver’s license. Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds.
