The Radiologic Science Program is looking for one (1) Clinical Instructional Assistant to provide instruction, guidance, and evaluation to student radiographers completing clinical education courses. Clinical education takes place at various hospitals and other clinical settings. Student interaction will be one-on-one or in small groups.

Essential Duties:

Demonstrates the knowledge and skill base to perform and supervise students in a laboratory or clinical setting. Ability to think critically regarding routine and non-routine patient exams. Perform any repeat exposures within the Joint Review on Education in Radiology Technology (JRCERT) guidelines. Provide constructive feedback and evaluation in regard to the student’s overall clinical performance and competency.

Minimum Qualifications and Training:

Graduate of a JRCERT accredited radiography program. Current registration and Certification in Radiography by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).

Preferred Qualifications and Training:

Previous experience in clinical instruction with a JRCERT accredited program.
A Baccalaureate Degree in Radiologic Science.
