Founded in 1919, AUC moved to a new 270-acre state-of-the-art campus in New Cairo in 2008. Job Description:

The Department of English Language Instruction and the Department of Rhetoric and Composition, both of which are housed in the AUC's Academy of Liberal Arts, invite applications for experienced teachers who are able to teach English for Academic Purposes (EAP) and /or First-Year writing. Teaching will focus on English for Academic Purposes (EAP): listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills, as well as teaching analysis, argument and research writing.

Successful candidates will be asked to teach three hours every day four days a week. Salary is based on qualifications and professional experience.


Requirements:

At least two years of teaching experience

MA TESOL, MA in Rhetoric and Composition, MFA or other related MA in the Humanities
