Job Summary:The TRCC Information Desk Attendant is the face of the TRCC. They are required to help provide a welcome and friendly environment to students, faculty, staff and visitors to the Thorne Rider Campus Center.
Reports To:Bradley Branson
Education/Qualifications:•Good Conduct and Academic Standing with the college
•Sheridan College Student currently enrolled
•Cumulative GPA is 2.0 or greater
•Excels with Verbal and Non-Verbal Communication
•Knowledgeable with Microsoft Word and Excel
•Willingness to learn and adapt to a constantly changing work environment
•Will have to work late and weekends, work hours are 4pm – 12am or later
•Must be able to lift 25 lbs.

Responsibility/Duty:•Oversee the Information Desk
•Keep Equipment Closet Organized
•Maintain a clean and organized working environment around the TRCC Front Desk
•Restock resources when they are our or request more resources when necessary
•Check out equipment and note when items come back broken or damaged
•Assist the building manager with making sure that the building and its assets remain in working order
•Help with tear down of events in the TRCC
•Complete chalk board signs and ensure event advertising is correct and up to date
