Unit Position Summary
Successful candidate(s) will perform a variety of laboratory research tasks as determined by the specific Physiology/Neuroscience laboratory and the scope of particular study including but not limited to: collecting, compiling and organizing samples and data; maintaining experimental models; offering conceptual improvements for consideration; experiment planning, design, and implementation; following procedures precisely and efficiently; assisting in the mentoring and/or training students and new personnel; operating and maintaining lab equipment; maintaining detailed records; processing basic financial documents; maintaining and ensuring workspace safety standards; providing timely and cogent communication with PI and Lab managers; assisting in preparing preparing/presenting components for publication, posters, and presentations; assisting with tracking project milestones.
Desired QualificationsRequired bachelor’s degree in Physiology, Biological Sciences, or Neurosciences; and 1-3 years of laboratory experience; or equivalent education and experience.
