The Department of Physics invites applicants for a full-time open rank teaching faculty position beginning Spring 2021. Only candidates from within the Department of Physics should apply at this time. This position will lead the operations and development of the five upper division laboratories in the Department of Physics. This position will teach two of the upper division laboratories, as well as supervise undergraduate student research. This position will oversee the implementation of data acquisitions (DAQ) and control systems enhancing online and remote learning for students. Successful candidates are expected to demonstrate a strong commitment to undergraduate and graduate teaching, and to diversity, equity, and inclusion through research, teaching, and/or service endeavors. Minimum qualifications include an earned doctorate in Physics and the ability to teach effectively at both the graduate and undergraduate levels.
