Advertised Job Summary:The Advanced Research Associate level position leads a team in conducting a variety of complex research and evaluation projects. These projects include ongoing Center contractual obligations as well as new grant awards generated by the Advanced Research Associate through collaboration with the CCFS research team.
Minimum Qualifications (Classified and Unclassified positions):Master’s degree in social work, public health, or related social services fields.
Preferred Qualifications:PhD in social work, public health, education, or related social services fields preferred. Experience conducting applied research studies or program evaluations.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:The successful candidate should have good oral and written communications skills, strong analytical and organizational skills. The ability to work independently and effectively following through on multiple priorities and under deadline pressure. Ability to demonstrate proficiency using various statistical software programs. Highly motivated and possesses the ability to work both independently and collaboratively with other project partners. Must have keen attention to detail and excellent organizational skills. Provides expertise on research and evaluation projects as assigned to include data analysis and program enhancement. Experience with quantitative analysis and a working knowledge of relational databases.
