Job Summary
The CE Marketing Assistant will assist in development and implementation of marketing campaigns. This is a 24-hour per week benefited staff position located in Statesboro.

Responsibilities
  • Perform related duties as assigned to support the mission of the University
  • Manage and consistently update CE list-servs and contact lists
  • Research best methods for reaching specific target audiences
  • Consistently look for new marketing avenues, such as community calendars, business meetings, public events, etc.
  • Assist in the design and implementation of paid and unpaid marketing campaigns
  • Work with marketing team to analyze the effectiveness of marketing campaigns in reaching the appropriate audiences
  • Design and facilitate client surveys and course/program evaluations. Process the data and report on findings

Required Qualifications
Educational Requirements
  • Two or more years of post-secondary education with emphasis in Marketing, Public Relations or Communications

Required Experience
  • One or more years of experience with social media platforms and internet marketing

Preferred Qualifications
Preferred Educational Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Public Relations, or Communications

Preferred Experience
  • Two (2) or more years of related work experience

Proposed Salary
$14.85 - $18.17 per hour

  • Knowledge of marketing principles, techniques, and campaign design
  • Knowledge of social media platforms
  • Knowledge of survey design and distribution; and basic statistical analysis
