Minimum Qualifications:

Requires technical knowledge in the field acquired through an apprenticeship, a 2-year degree, or professional certificate. Please contact your Human Resources office for an evaluation of education/experience in lieu of the required minimum qualifications.

Position Summary:

Meet with student-athletes several times a week during regularly scheduled sessions in order to facilitate their academic confidence and independence.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and/or Competencies:

Ability to read, analyze and interpret technical procedures or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from individuals, customers and the general public. Ability to solve practical problems and deal with random issues. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Provide individual support in the areas of: time management, organization, note-taking, studying, and test-taking strategies, all within the scope of UGA, SEC, and NCAA rules and regulations.
