Job Summary:The Stagecraft student will manage the workspaces related to Stagecraft such as: the costume and makeup rooms, the workshop and sewing room. The student will maintain these rooms, and supervise other students in these spaces out-of-hours so they may complete their own independent projects.

Education/Qualifications:•Good Conduct and Academic Standing with the college
•Sheridan College Student currently enrolled
•Cumulative GPA is 2.0 or greater
The student worker should:
•Have a working knowledge of the workshop and safety procedures related to the machinery within
•Have a responsible and professional attitude in the workspaces
•Be willing to learn new skills in relation to building and construction in theatre
•Must maintain tidy and orderly workspaces, dedicating time to the cleanliness and management of said spaces
•Be a self-starter who can work independently during work hours to complete specified projects
•Must be able to work 8-12 hrs a week depending on availability and production schedule.
•Must be able to lift 30 pounds

Responsibility/Duty:The Stagecraft Theatre Student Technician duties will include:
•Space oversight and monitoring the scene shop, sewing room, and costume/make-up spaces; assistance in the WYO Theatre as needed.
•Minor weekly cleaning/maintenance of Scene Shop and Production Studios.
•Potential TA responsibilities preparing materials and spaces for upcoming projects and productions.
